Karlis

Bio:
Carles (Karlis) Abraham was born in the small city of Little Rock, Arkansas. Since his childhood, music was something he always wanted to do. He used to listen to gospel and soul albums that his parents owned and it fueled his passion for music. While in college, Karlis began playing and recording original music. He also began performing in several showcases around campus with numerous bands and groups. While playing with the GRK Project, Karlis played keys and sang cover tunes that ranged from Marvin Gaye to Frank Sinatra. This gave him a foundation to build upon. After completing an engineer program at the Los Angeles Recording School, Karlis went on to intern at Threshold Sound and Vision in Santa Monica, California. He didn’t tell anyone at the studio that he was an aspiring singer/songwriter/producer but eventually decided to explore more creative avenues at Threshold and started making music for Spin Move Records and the rest…
